Key Notes: 1. DO NOT FREEZE the membrane. 2. Rinse the elements for 1 hour prior to first use, as there is a protective material that needs to be flushed out. This will help ensure the TDS of the pure water reaches the proper level. 3. The first full tank of permeate must be discarded and not used for drinking or food preparation. 4. For optimal performance, we recommend using a 550CC restrictor on the waste pipe when connecting this 150 GPD membrane. 5. If the water source contains chlorine or has high hardness, it is recommended to install a carbon/sediment pre-filter or water softener before the RO unit.
