The set includes 2 Activated Carbon Block Water Filters (10" x 2.5", 5 Micron) that fit standard 10" filter housing, and 1 RO Membrane Filter (11.75" x 1.75") that fits standard 2" RO housing.

The Carbon Block Filter in our set can filter up to 15,000-30,000 gallons, depending on water quality. We recommend replacing it every 6-12 months for optimal performance. The RO membrane typically lasts about 2 to 3 years, depending on feedwater quality and incoming water pressure.

The 50 GPD RO Membrane features a 0.0001 micron TFC layer that can reduce up to 99% of impurities while maintaining a high permeated flow. It can remove heavy metals, organic materials, rubber mass, harmful minerals, and soluble salts from water, including lead, chlorine, fluoride, nitrates, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, colloids, magnesium, chromium, and more.

It's important to note that the Activated Carbon Block Filter should be rinsed with clean water for five minutes before first use. For systems using the RO Membrane, it is recommended to rinse the elements for 24 hours to meet NSF/ANSI 58 standard. The first full tank of permeate must be discarded.
