The combo filter pack, measuring 10x4.5 inches, comprises 4 pieces of 5-micron sediment filter cartridges and 4 pieces of 5-micron CTO carbon block water filter cartridges. The SimPure sediment water filter is constructed from pure polypropylene, making it resistant to chemicals and corrosion. Polypropylene filters are excellent for whole-house water filtration and can be used as effective pre-filters for whole-house or point-of-use systems.

The premium coconut shell activated carbon filter cartridge is made of pure coconut shell charcoal block, wrapped in a food-grade polypropylene non-woven fabric to achieve fine water filtration while preventing carbon particles from leaking into the water. This filter has been tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF 42 Standards for material safety.

Optimized to perform as both a sediment and carbon block filter, the 5-micron filtration system removes contaminants down to 5 microns, eliminating undesirable colors, bad tastes, and odors, while reducing up to 98% of chlorine from well water and municipal water, significantly improving the overall water quality for the entire household.

The high-capacity, long-lasting carbon filter can filter up to 15,000 gallons of water, depending on usage and local water quality. The high-porosity design helps prevent the cartridge from clogging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a lower pressure drop.
