The filters last for different periods of time depending on the stage. The Pre/Carbon Filter (stages 1-2) lasts for 300 gallons or 6 months, whichever comes first. The VOC Filter (stage 4) lasts for 300 gallons or 12 months, whichever comes first. The Reverse Osmosis filter (stage 3) lasts for 600 gallons or 24 months (2 years), whichever comes first.

AquaTru Carafe comes with a complete set of three filters: 1 Pre-Filter, 1 Reverse Osmosis filter, and 1 Carbon VOC Filter. The filters are included and there is no need to purchase them separately.
